Equal Equal is a design studio that makes lighting.

Our name draws from the architecture term “EQ” meaning equal, or denoting an equidistant length in a design’s schematic.  

Created out of the shared curiosity of architects Elliot Meier and Serene Kim, Equal Equal is rooted in the philosophy of aesthetic utility. We design objects in service of spatial experiences, fixtures that adorn and animate in equal measure.

All pieces are crafted in our New York studio.
